Since the halt of CAL, the only league that people have had any chance on participating in is CEVO. With the current economic slump, the Total Gaming League (TGL) was hit a bit hard early on and halted the start of new seasons. However, the administrative staff at TGL has begun working hard to get leagues started up for almost all E-Sports games. The TGL is trying to give every team from any game the chance to compete at the game they enjoy most. The main games that will be featured in TGL are CS:S, CoD4, ET:QW, and TF2. There are also hopes to add other games in the near future as well. However, with a new season come new changes. The Total Gaming League is hoping to bring an enjoyable competitive season for each game. Admins are ready to answer any PM’s via website, Xfire, Mirc, or E-mail.
For the Call of Duty 4 season there will be many significant new changes implemented. The season will run for 8 weeks with an added 1 week of preseason. It is planned to have two divisions, Open and Professional. Rather than previous placement tournaments that took up weeks and delayed the start of the season, the teams that take place in the Professional division will be hand selected by the CoD4 administration. If any team that feels they deserve to take place in TGL-P, they can PM myself via Xfire, websites, E-mail, or Mirc. Be sure to your team up TODAY for the new fabulous seasons at the Total Gaming League.
